What New Technology Have We Added to the Office?
It is our goal to provide you the very best care possible. Our staff is continuously reading articles, attending webinars, going to additional training sessions, and talking to colleagues to improve and give you better care. In addition to all of the knowledge that we are gaining, we have recently made upgrades to our technology to bring you better care. We continue to embrace ever-changing dental technology and use it to help diagnose problems sooner, saving you from added discomfort as well as saving you time and money. Dr. Brown recently recorded a video explaining the new technology added to the patient rooms and why it is beneficial to you. Click to watch the video and read more about the benefits of the updated technology.
As Dr. Brown shares in the video, the patient rooms have recently gotten some upgrades, with larger HD monitors and better intraoral cameras. These improvements help us to identify problem areas sooner rather than later. The sooner an issue is discovered, the easier it is to fix or make adjustments to help avoid major problems and discomfort. These improvements also help to educate patients on what is happening in their mouths. We are able to explain in greater detail what is being seen and what treatment plan we recommend moving forward.
Dr. Brown mentions that intraoral cameras are used to give a more accurate representation of your teeth, gums, and the state of your existing fillings. The camera lets us take pictures that can be compared over time to help determine if a problem area, such as a crack, is worsening or remaining unchanged.
Large HD Monitors
We use these monitors to show images from the intraoral camera on a much larger scale. We are able to zoom in and make the images much larger to help patients understand what is being seen. Dr. Brown explains that the enlarged images can help patients feel better and more confident in the decision about dental care and treatment.
If you have not visited our office for an examination recently, we would love for you to schedule an appointment and see how these new upgrades are used in our West Chester, OH office. We are always striving for new ways to bring you better and improved care. As always, we hope you stay well and safe and look forward to seeing you soon.
