At Drs. Brown, Gettings & Gade, we take pride in creating and maintaining healthy smiles for our younger patients. Our tone with this age group is fun and lighthearted because we want to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
The emphasis for young patients is on establishing good oral health habits that will last them a lifetime. We do this by educating children and parents on a comprehensive preventative care program that includes regular dental checkups. The sooner a child receives routine professional dental care, the more likely they will have a healthy mouth throughout their lifetime.
As part of an effort to guard against childhood dental decay we recommend periodic fluoride treatments and dental sealants placed on the biting surfaces of the back teeth.
