Teeth can become stained or discolored from food, tobacco use, age, medications or injury. Fortunately, teeth whitening treatments are a non-invasive procedure that can lighten and brighten teeth.
Also known as bleaching, teeth whitening refers to any process that will make teeth appear whiter. While there are many over the counter teeth whitening options, the most effective and safest teeth whitening systems are those that are available at dental offices. Professional dental whitening systems offer higher concentrations of whitening components and deliver them efficiently to teeth to achieve optimal results.
We are proud to offer two exceptional options for teeth whitening. You can choose either an in-office tooth whitening procedure or a professional take home system. Both of these are top-of the-line systems, however, the biggest advantage of the in-office procedure is that in as little as one hour you can achieve a smile that is several shades whiter and brighter than the original color of your teeth.
Our professional strength take home system also produces excellent results, however, it is achieved by a more gradual process. The take home kit may be prescribed alone, or after an in-office treatment to maintain optimal results.
Now offering Philips Zoom! Professional In-Office Whitening
Achieving that gleaming white smile is now easier and more convenient than ever with Philips Zoom! In-Office Whitening. In just under an hour, your teeth can be 8 shades whiter.
The procedure is carried out right in the office, with 3 consecutive 15-minute treatments, all carefully monitored by your trusted dental professionals at Brown & Gettings, DDS.
The Philips Zoom! teeth whitening system combines a powerful hydrogen peroxide gel with a special activating light to remove stains and discoloration. After the three treatments, a fluoride gel is applied to teeth to help with any sensitivity and to provide extra protection for the enamel.
Treatments are fully customizable to suit each patient’s individual needs and sensitivity, ensuring maximum success and comfort.
After treatment, patients are sent home with a custom-fitted in-home whitening kit for easy touch ups and maintenance.

Teeth Whitening Steps
We have proudly served West Chester and surrounding communities for 37 years. Our West Chester Dentists, Dr. Lee Brown, Dr. Nicole Gettings, and our caring staff work hard to ensure you receive the highest quality dental care in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

A mold is taken of your teeth, which is used to make a custom tray that will hold the whitening gel against your teeth. These trays are yours to keep and can be used whenever you’d like an additional whitening.

Whitening gel is then placed into the tray and then fitted onto your teeth.
