Improve Your Smile with Clear Aligners
We often have patients who share their insecurities about their oral health with us. Dr. Gade had a patient who shared her story with her, and she was able to drastically change her smile. This patient has been a teacher for the last 40 years and has always been self-conscious about the gap between her front teeth. Since children always speak their minds, they would regularly comment on the appearance of her teeth. She was finally ready to make a change, and clear aligners gave her a more youthful and symmetrical smile.
As you can see from the before and after pictures, the clear aligners completely transformed her smile. If you are unfamiliar, clear aligners are an orthodontic treatment that uses clear trays to slowly transition teeth into alignment. Patients love this treatment because the trays are removable, allowing them to continue to enjoy their favorite foods and clean their teeth as normal. Our patient wore the aligners for 12 months, and that was the only treatment she received to achieve these changes. In addition to improving the appearance of her teeth, she no longer has a deep bite, which was causing problems with premature wear of the teeth.
