A virtual consult is not that different from an in-person consult. It’s conducted in a private session where the patient can ask questions of the doctor and receive advice on next steps, including things they can do at home to improve their oral health. If the patient wants to know more about a specific treatment option, the dentist can fill them in and help them decide if moving forward would be in their best interest. It’s a convenient way for patients to learn more about us and how we can help them improve their oral health.
