Dr. Brown Speaks The Tooth: Smile Simulation
Experiencing a dental emergency is never fun, especially if it involves your front teeth. It can leave a patient feeling traumatized, upset and self-conscious. Your smile is a part of who you are. It allows you to show off your personality, display the confidence you have in yourself and helps you greet people and make them more comfortable in your presence. When your smile is compromised, it can be challenging to demonstrate the same confidence as before. Dr. Brown is back with another video installment, where he shares the story of a patient who had an unfortunate experience that affected his smile and how, by using smile simulation technology, he was able to get his smile back and better than before. Improve Your Smile
Whether you experience an accident or are just unhappy with the appearance and function of your teeth and smile, it can greatly impact the way you feel about yourself and the way you present yourself to others. As you can see in the video, the patient mentioned lost his front teeth and had to overcome a great challenge, as he is in front of clients daily. We never want a patient to be unhappy with their smile and are happy to offer options that not only improve the function of their teeth, but also give them a smile they are proud to show off.
Smile Simulation
One way that we were able to help the patient from the video, as well as a number of other patients, is by using our smile simulation technology. This technology allows us to show a patient a digital rendering of what their smile could potentially look like after treatment. We are able to show a patient how teeth whitening, crowns, veneers, implants and orthodontics can improve their smile. Although the simulation is a rough draft, patients love being able to see a preview of their smiles without having to wait until treatment is complete.
