No matter how diligent we are with our oral health, sometimes accidents and facial trauma occur and patients are left with missing and broken teeth. We know that it can be heartbreaking when you are left with your oral health in what feels like shambles. Patients who experience tooth loss to illness, medication side effects, and severe decay have many of the same feelings. Smiling is a way that we can showcase our personality or give a greeting to another without needing to utter a word, and when that is not possible, it is easy to develop issues with self-esteem and become introverted.

We are thrilled that life is resuming a sense of normalcy again. We are able to be out and about, enjoying the summer with our family and friends, traveling if we choose, and doing all the things we missed out on last summer. While many of our patients are loving resuming their life again, we know that we also have patients who have been dreading these moments because they are self-conscious about showing off their teeth when they talk or smile. If you are unhappy with the appearance of your smile, it doesn’t necessarily mean that an expensive treatment is needed. It is amazing the transformations we see in our patients when they complete a teeth whitening treatment using Zoom! whitening. In fact, be sure to look at the amazing before and after images of one of our patients who recently used this treatment method.
