In-Network or Out-of-Network?
One of the most common questions we are asked by patients is, “Are you in-network or out-of- network?” Many people get nervous if we tell them we are out-of-network because they think they can’t see us. That’s not the case, though. In this video, Dr. Brown sheds light on how Brown & Kupper DDS handles out-of-network patients and how we are still able to provide them with great dental care. Watch the video above.
You might not know this, but most of our patients are out-of-network. However, this doesn’t mean that they can’t see us for their dental needs. What it does mean is that we are not restricted by insurance. When not limited by insurance, we can use the highest quality materials, spend extra time with patients, and stand by our work. On the other hand, when we have to follow the in-network restrictions, we’re forced to find ways to work around them, and quality suffers, which is never a good thing. In fact, We have actually chosen to be out-of-network for various insurance carriers because we know it’s better for you. We want you to have the best quality materials that last as long as possible.
If you are concerned about this situation, we are happy to speak with you and walk you through your options. You can still receive benefits, just like many of our patients who still see us even if we are out-of-network. They continue to come to us because they know they are getting the best dental care possible.
What’s more, we’ll file the information for your insurance so you don’t have to. It can be confusing and take up lots of time, but we’ll manage that for you because we know the in’s and out’s of this process.
Please feel free to call our West Chester office with any questions you may have. We’ll be glad to explain the entire process for you.
