Our Success Is Your Success

For many businesses in Ohio and across the country, 2020 was a trying year with plenty of setbacks and letdowns. Dental practices were especially impacted, having to close completely for several weeks in the spring while we were all trying to understand how to operate during a pandemic. At Brown & Gettings, DDS, however, we did not let that downtime get us down. In fact, we used it to educate ourselves and work on ways to provide the safest dental care experience for our patients. And for that, the practice was nominated for and won an Ohio Success Award for Company Response of the Year!

Every year, Ohio Business Magazine recognizes Ohio businesses, nonprofits and governmental organizations that make special contributions to the community and demonstrate exceptional growth. Last year, though, since the situation was not exactly “business as usual”, the magazine decided to rethink the definition of success in view of COVID-19 and spotlight people, businesses, and organizations for their courageous and innovative responses to the pandemic. Brown & Gettings, DDS won the award for it’s quick thinking and compassion in the face of the pandemic and for its commitment to fighting the spread of COVID-19.

Of course, we would not have won this award if it weren’t for our amazing patients who stuck with us as we began implementing enhanced safety measures in the office. Change isn’t always easy, and the changes we had to make to adjust our daily routine because of COVID-19 meant that our patients were inconvenienced and had to adjust as well. We cannot express just how grateful we are that we have such understanding and loyal patients who kept their appointments, followed the new procedures without a single complaint, and also showed their concern for our health and well-being.

We are truly honored to have won an Ohio Success award. We’re also committed to staying successful in 2021 and beyond by always keeping our patients’ health and safety in mind with every decision we make. We’d like to thank all of our patients for helping us keep the office as safe as possible for everyone and for staying with us through thick and thin. It is our absolute pleasure to serve the West Chester, OH community in the great state of Ohio!
